Ok, I’m making a new decision that I’ll post updates on Saturdays only. I just got back from ballet, speech and psych, and I have to get ready for chem tomorrow so weekdays I just don’t have the time.
Or at least the ones from my 2 month hiatus. (And no Bullwinkle I would not run off with the BF, but if I did, I’d still post updates.)
Bellatrix [Ravelry link]:

Monkey’s:

And the basic ankle socks for my sister’s 18th birthday:

(I wanted her to model these, but she’s not the sock modeling type.)
There, I’m now caught up with the finished socks, one tank to go and then I’ll reveal my new current projects. Then we can see how well I can keep to updates with my knitting.
Now pardon me while I go textbook shopping. (Ugh! Thank goodness ballet doesn’t require a book.)
First, the reason I’d like to blame my lack of knitting on:

Yeah I figured you wouldn’t believe me. But I think this means she approves of the yarn and it knitted up. (Pics of what I’m doing with that yarn later sans Belle sleeping on it.)
So, I tried something new. I’m tatting now. It’s rather easy, just lots and lots of knots with thread. And a free pattern by Nancy Tracy. She sends out a free pattern every month and I thought they were cute so I tried it out.

I’ll be back with more knitting in a bit!
I have thought about posting, but every time I actually attempt it, I suddenly get very sleepy. Granted this might improve if I tried posting earlier or later in the day, cause 3am? Not working too well.
Anyway, I’ve finished socks, a tank, started a sweater for my Olympic project( and that isn’t the crazy part), began designing a strapless top that I’ve actually swatched for, and I’m also knitting a new bag. The crazy part? I thought I could do and finish the last three during the Olympics. Have a good laugh, I’ll be in bed holding a knitting project because nothing fuels my drive for knitting like the stress of starting school in 2 weeks does. Actually no, finals are worse. *shudder*
I’ll try to post some pics in the morning during my early online time.
